Each week, the Leadership Den is committed to highlighting people that inspire emerging leaders under 35 to excel in all of their gifts and talents. While we can and will continue to highlight great leaders each week, we would be remiss if we did not highlight the most important person in our Autobahn Society. That person is YOU!
We celebrate people, places and things so often that we forget to focus on the best person that we can be. Our make-up is so different from everyone else that we must remember that we cannot emulate someone else while being true to ourselves.
We forget to celebrate our accomplishments, both big and small. Our society is so full of celebrating the accomplishments of those that do the biggest and greatest things that we sometimes do not see our contributions and the impact they have on others.
We forget that with each step in our lives to be a better leader is a step towards a larger greatness. Each step, even those that seem to pull us a few steps back, allow us to move towards being the best that each of us can be.
Our hope is that you do not forget to celebrate and recognize your accomplishments. You don’t need an audience to honor that. It can be in your own personal quiet time. Just do it. It will give you the strength and encouragement to continue growing.
